Just One

All it takes is just one touch of love to change our lives forever.

I can think of many times in my life when I cried out to God saying, “God can you please just do this one thing for me, my life would be better.” God has always come through with the one thing, right on time. I call that one thing a touch of love.

The Bible in I Corinthians 13:4-8 describes love.

“Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails.”

God coming thru in the niche of time is love. He doesn’t want to see us struggle. God doesn’t care how we got ourselves into that situation. All He cares about is that we ran to Him. God is love.

Many of you are familiar with the woman that had a blood issue in the Bible. She was desperate for help. She knew if she could get close enough to Jesus to touch Him, He would make her whole. Jesus was always surrounded by people because, well, He’s Jesus. The woman pressed her way through the crowd to get to Him and touch His clothes. The woman’s faith was so strong that Jesus felt her when she received His healing. He didn’t reject her, shame her, or ask a bunch of questions. He received her and changed her. He gave her a blessing that changed her life for the better forever.

Having a relationship with God is the first step to receiving a touch of love. The woman in the Bible KNEW about Jesus.

The second step, is to believe. Knowing Jesus causes belief in Him. It’s just like getting to know someone you see. Developing a relationship with a person determines whether you can trust and believe in them, or walk away from them. Once you get to know Jesus, you will definitely believe in Him.

The third step is making Him your refuge. Don’t run to other people or things for your help. Run to Jesus first, He will send the people with what you need.

The fourth step is having a grateful heart toward God. Always praise and worship Him.

“I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭34‬:‭1‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

I pray everyone reading this will receive a touch of God’s love that will change their life for the better forever. In Jesus name. Amen.
