God Will Provide

The word "provide" is usually associated with money but God will provide whatever we need that's in His will. We know that God will provide our needs physically, so much so that in the Bible our well being is compared to birds not worrying about what they are going to eat. Birds have plenty of things to choose from to eat and they will never run out. God will provide for us the same way. The question is do we have the faith in God to believe He will provide everything else we need?

God will provide strength when we are feeling weak or drained from the trials of life. Philippians 4:13 says "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

There have been many times when I have prayed, cried, and prayed to God for strength. He provided the strength I needed to get through some horrible situations. While going through those situations I felt like giving up but God stepped in with the strength I needed.

God will provide peace and clarity in the mist of confusion. Philippians 4:7 "And the peace of God, which surpasses every thought, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus."

God provides wisdom and understanding. 2 Chronicles 1:1-13 King Solomon became King and God was with Him. God asked Solomon what can He give him? Solomon asked for wisdom and knowledge so that he can lead the people. God said since he didn't ask for riches, his request is granted. God blessed King Solomon with riches too because his heart was in the right place.

God provides grace. Ephesians 2:8 says "For you are saved by grace through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God’s gift"

God provides love. God has loved me even when I didn't love myself. Honestly, there are still times when those thoughts try to creep in my mind but I kill those by reminding myself of the magnitude of God's love. John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, He gave His only begotten Son"

God provide Himself. John 14:26 "But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit—the Father will send Him in My name—will teach you all things and remind you of everything I have told you."

God provides so much for us to help us get through this life here on earth. It's important to remember this when the hard times try to distract us from God's amazing promises.

To sum it all up Psalms 23:1 says "The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want." We don't have to want for anything because we believe and allow God to be our shepherd. I hope this helps to encourage you.
